Cuban Birthday
I’m a day late here but Happy Birthday, sweetie! At least I have a good reason since we were out late on the town last night to celebrate.
The two of us first enjoyed a nice dinner at Habana. After stuffing ourselves of cuban seasoned pork we headed down the street to Ruta Maya for their one-hour salsa lesson held every Wednesday during ”Cuban Night”. Granted I was the one who needed the lesson since my baby knows how to dance. I think i did quite well however as no toes were stepped on!
Oh, and if you ever want some great Cuban music, Buena Vista Social Club [iTunes] is the album to own.

Aww…you beat me to the blog! I was just about to write about our wonderful time! It was fabulous! I’m still beaming just thinking about how much fun I had. I LOVE LOVE LOVE salsa dancing and I haven’t been in ages. My sweet handsome husband was actually pretty good for a first time German Irish farm boy from Indiana moving his hips to the Latin beat!
My apologies to all our friends who might have been expecting our traditional big birthday bash. But for this 6-month-pregnant-mother-of-two-kids-under-the-age-of-3 this was the perfect 7th Anniversary of my 25th birthday. Thanks sweetie for a perfect evening! I love you.
ooh, that sounds fun! We may have to do that for my birthday!! Ryan did woo me with his dancing skills, but they were on the country dance floor!
Happy Birthday, my friend!
