More Doooouuuugggghhhhnuts!

Adam has been bragging for the last 6 years of the homemade doughnuts his family made when he was a boy.  This weekend the kids and Adam had the pleasure of making and devouring over a dozen doughnuts!  It’s amazing what joy and bonding you can bring to three kids with a couple of cans of biscuits, a pop top, deep fryer, and cinnamon-sugar!

  1. Grandpa G says:

Those homemade doughnuts are just great as you can tell by the way Fulton is eating them. Mary and Katrina ( Sr. Maria Kolbe) were the doughnut makers on a Sunday morning after Holy Mass. Grandpa’s only problem was he couldn’t eat one. One always lead to another and another and another and Gramdpa liked the doughnut holes the best. Glad that Adam as taken the joy to the next generations. Love Dad ( grandpa )

Of course everytime we got one coated with the sugar and finished, Dad and the boys would come in and *flash* it’d be gone…couldn’t wait until they were even on the table! Also, Ma would make the best biscuts and gravy and Tom and Jerry would be on. Those were the good ol’ Sundays! Hope all is well! Love and miss you all! :)
