Nesting

Ahhh nesting…It’s one of my favorite parts of being pregnant because even though at first sight our house doesn’t look like it, we get rid of a lot of “stuff” we don’t use….like Adam’s sweaters from high school… coffee mugs we never use because I don’t drink coffee and Adam has his 1 favorite that he always uses…shoes that no longer fit after baby number 3…notes from my college fluid dynamics class…out dated webdesign books that would probaby be best used as fire starter… and the list goes on.

And today’s conversation about lunch was even more indicative that a baby is coming soon…

Adam: What’s for lunch?

Me: Sandwiches.

Adam:  (Keep in mind, Adam is not a big fan of cold sandwiches.) Don’t we have a pizza in the freezer we can take out?

Me: Nope. That’s for when the baby comes.

Adam:  How about the left over BBQ Pork for sandwiches?

Me:  There’s enough for one, but the rest I put in the freezer.

Adam:  But–

Me:  When the baby comes you can eat anything and everything from the freezer to your heart’s content.  Until then, it stays in the freezer!

    Sharon,

What are some of the meals you have in the freezer??? I’m looking for some casseroles that are easy to freeze so that when we come home from the hospital after Abby’s heart surgery, I won’t have to worry about supper so much:) Email me if you can! Thanks!!!
