Adam Raccoon
My parents handed down to me a couple of books from my childhood. Glen Keane had written and illustrated a series of children books that help explain Biblical truths. What makes these stories so fun are the central characters: the wild and zany Adam Raccoon and the wise and loving lion, King Aren. The stories themselves sometimes retell parables from the Bible and at other times simply convey good morals. The books read like cartoons, the illustrations are brilliant, and they make it easy to discuss lesson learned at the end.
My kids just adore these books and Sharon and I couldn’t be happier. They are no longer in print but you can find plenty of used in like-new condition from Amazon (few listed below) or AbeBooks.com. We just recently purchased three more and the smiles we received from Thérèse and Fulton as soon as they recognized that furry mammal on the cover just reaffirmed that these are definitely a worthwhile investment.

Oh, I remember reading these over & over again. The girls would laugh and tease Adam about being Adam Raccoon. I’m so glad your kids are enjoying them now!
Nice little tool you got there for going through the books.
