Happy Birthday, Beloved

Yesterday was the 9th anniversary of Sharon’s 25th birthday. It was a great day that entailed mass in the morning, a breakfast treat at Waterloo from our good friend Mark, a couple hours of fun at the Brushy Creek sprinkler park, a visit from Ms. Lindsey, and an ending with DQ Ice Cream Cake.

We love you, mom. Happy Birthday.

WE sure have some good singers at mom’s birthday party. Thanks for sending the video.

That has got to be the most adorable video I have ever seen. It will be nice to look back on that over and over again as the kids get older (and Sharon gets younger *wink*)!

So, how many times did you wind up re-lighting the candles? :)

  7. Sharon says:

We just relighted the candles 3 times. You see, my earliest childhood memory consists of one of my birthday parties–really probably the only one my parents ever threw for me. And a little girl who was supposedly a very good friend kept blowing out my candles! I was totally robbed. So I’m kind of determined not to let that happen again. ;)
