Update on my sister
Thank you for the prayers you offered for my sister. She called yesterday to give me the update on her last appointment. It turns out she has liver and spinal hemangioma. These are benign tumors on the blood vessels of her liver and spine. This actually all started when she went in to have her liver looked at again for the growth she had on it. That is when the doctors noticed the spot on her spine.
From what I’ve read so far, it sounds like it is congenital and benign but the doctors still need to watch it to see if it grows. She does have many of the symptoms from it: back pain, abdominal pain, and a feeling of fullness from eating very little.
She still has some followups with her oncologist and bone specialist. And she’s starting physical therapy on her ankle soon. Hopefully she won’t incur any more injuries and can let her body heal.
Sharon I want to Thank You, Family and our friends for the prayers. Feeling good… The Ankle is doing better, going through the changing of colors, hoping to put full weight on it by Monday when I go to the physical therapist. Take Care! and Hugs and kisses to the kiddos!! Love ya very much!!
