Care Calendar and pregnancy update
My friend, Rowena, set up a Care Calendar for our family in anticipation of Baby G’s arrival. Here is the information if you are interested in bringing us a meal in the next 6 weeks.

I had an appointment this morning. My blood pressure is 134/84 which is higher than what they would like to see. The cut off when more testing and decisions have to be made is when I reach 140/90. I’m close but I’m thankfully also close to the due date–next Thursday. My midwife gave me a natural tincture that will hopefully lower my blood pressure and help me relax a little bit. We’ll try that out and in the meantime pray and do all we can to get this baby out!
If we haven’t had the baby by next Thursday and my blood pressure reaches 140/90 then we’ll have to get some blood tests done to make sure the baby and I are still okay. We’ll also have to start discussions about a possible induction.
After discussing my recent anxiety attacks with the midwife, she did give me more information on postpartum depression and a few referrals. I’ll look into that if all this persists after the baby is born. I went through 3 months of this when I was pregnant with Gianna and it ceased the day she was born. I’m hoping for the same thing this time.
Mom Gretencord also confirmed today that she will be coming into town on Sunday to give us a hand for the next couple of week. That will be such a help and blessing!
We ask for your prayers that this baby comes out and comes out fast!
And that I will reach a happy peaceful place in my mental facilities so that my blood pressure lowers and I can get some good rest.
