This is old news but….Therese got a butterfly garden for her birthday. And we waited for better weather to order the caterpillars. She loved the butterflies, but we finally had to let them go. It’s the closest thing we have had to pets. (And it’s going to stay that way unless we open our home to some needy fish.)
Here’s one of the painted ladies on our carrot plants after we released them.
Well, the tomatoes on my vines are few, the squash blossom rot got the squash and pumpkin, BUT we still have carrots and my baby likes them!
We went to visit our wonderful friends, the Ceys, in Houston this past weekend. We made a trip to Galveston beach for the day. Despite the heat we had a blessed time with our friends!
